Our client is a Global Securities firm who has a well established presence across Asia. They are now looking for a qualified senior financial analyst to support its investment securities division.
Responsibilities
Work as a key member of the MIS function of Daiwa Capital Markets Hong Kong office, its business includes Equities, FICC & Investment Banking.
Coordinate and prepare Hong Kong management reports, including daily and monthly P/L, plus commission reports, ad hoc reports, etc with review and analysis of financial data thereof.
Prepare P/L budget and forecast.
Support ad-hoc projects including participation in the annual plan and results presentation.
Requirements
Experience in building management report is a must.
Big 4 experience is preferable but not a must.
Degree in Accountancy preferable or a related discipline.
Around 6 years’ demonstrated experience with financial reporting, analysis and review, preferably from the securities or financial markets sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must; VBA, Powerpoint and Access preferable.
Knowledge in using accounting tools, e.g. Oracle, Hyperion and SUN accounting.
Must be comfortable working under pressure with multiple projects.
Willing to work under a dynamic environment.
Good communication and presentation skills.
A strong analytical mind set and ability to interact with high level clients and management.
