Our client is one of the leading Financial Institution in Hong Kong, they have recently set up a new architecture team to support the expansion of their business. They are currently looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to help accelerate the growing technical team.
Responsibilities
Designing and developing a strong and efficient integration architectural framework
Design and lead the implementation of solutions based on business requirements and IT strategies
Define the principles to guide solutions decisions for the business
Work closely with a team of architects and engineers to create technical documents and proposals.
Consult with application or infrastructure development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture
Work with business users to understand business requirements and help them understand how technology trade-offs influence strategy
Conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations, technical presentations, and sharing.
Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
Leading the evaluation and selection of integration, shared services and governance solutions from vendor
Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field
2-4 years experiences designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions
Experience architecting, designing and programming applications in an AWS Cloud environment
Hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies in AWS preferred
Current AWS Certified Solutions Architect- Professional preferred
Sound knowledge on IT application architecture, design, methodologies across multiple platforms-Microsoft Windows, Linux, Cloud Environment
Passionate in new technologies- such as container technology, machine learning, digital customer engagement
Ability to deliver technical specification and Visio architecture diagram
With vendor management skills to get the best solutions and proposal from vendors
Solid experience in Agile delivery methodology and DevOps
Good presentation and communication skills
Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, proficiency in Putonghua is an advantage
